This is our Magical Presentation that shows our kids and our audience why reading is so important! Our show is a great motivator to get our kids excited about reading.

Whether it’s our Assembly or our Library Show, we make sure that the kids leave with a whole new perspective and attitude toward Learning and Reading.

Libraries Lead!

Getting kids interested in reading books and visiting the library can be pretty daunting these days! With television, the internet and video games, children often times aren’t motivated to open a book and spend time reading a cool story.

As a librarian, you have to come up with unique ways to get kids to the library and increase your circulation.

We’ve got a solution!

“Micky Magic” (schoolfunshows.com) is a full time professional children’s entertainer who has been entertaining kids and families for over 25 years. In fact, for all those years, in all his shows, Micky has included an awesome routine about libraries. Yes, he walks the walk. A cool Magician and cooler story teller. Micky is bonded, insured, and very funny too! He’s got lots and lots of credentials and references!

This year, Micky Magic will be reading excerpts from an awesome kids book call, “A Ghost Of A Chance” by Rory Johnston a writer, publisher, Master Magician and personal friend of Micky Magic. The story is about some kids that call themselves “The Wizards.” In the story, they (The Wizards) use their skills to enhance a book report, which delights their class but infuriates bully Jimmy Rock who hates being fooled. When the Magic trick is stolen, the young Magicians outwit the bullies, but at what price? All out war! Incredible Storytelling and Magic!

Isn’t it time to bring Micky Magic to your School Assembly or Library to wow/excite and teach your patrons all about the fun of reading and checking out books. All while experiencing some of the finest prestidigitation(look it up) around!

Magic and Laughter is an absolute vehicle to get the kids in your neighborhood interested and into the library. Side splitting and age-appropriate humor will keep the audience laughing and having a great time from start to finish. Micky Magic will conjure up some very cool story lines and deliver them with some awesome legerdemain and prestidigitation. There I go again with big words. I tell folk… “Go to the Library and look that up.”

JUMP IN- IT’S FUN: Rather than just watching the program, your young patrons will be invited to come up and participate during the program. Girls and boys both get to help make the “magic” happen during this riot of fun, laughter and learning. What are you waiting for?
